Dr Kristian Moeller

Dr Kristian Moeller has dedicated over 20 years of his career to introducing and establishing GLOBALG.A.P farm assurance solutions, serving in different roles, (Managing Director, CEO, President). His leadership and initiative have transformed the organisation into an international system that sets the benchmark for safe and responsible farming practices worldwide.

Under Kristian’s lead, GLOBALG.A.P. has changed the lives of more than 200,000 farmers and their families, and more than two million farm workers — not to forget the many million consumers that enjoy access to safer food.

Kristian is now turning his energy to a new challenging project; under the roof of the EHI Retail Institute, he will devote his time to helping the industry set up a grievance mechanism system that meets the needs of the supply chain due diligence act.

Kristian grew up on a crop farm in Northern Germany and completed his education in Agricultural Economics at Paderborn University in Germany and Purdue University in Indiana, USA. He holds a PhD in Agribusiness Management from Kiel University, Germany.
