This year at E Tipu 2026, we want to celebrate our fabulous women in Agribusiness and the work they do for our sector.
2026 has been named the UN International Year of Women in Agriculture, and we’re celebrating it the best way we know how - by recognising the women and women-led teams who are quietly (and not so quietly) transforming Aotearoa New Zealand’s food and fibre systems.
These awards celebrate leadership, innovation, and impact - from the paddock to the boardroom, from research labs and start-ups to supply chains and communities.
Whether it’s a farmer leading change on-farm, a rising star building momentum early in their career, a team achieving more together, or an innovator using technology to solve real-world challenges, this is about shining a light on work that’s moving the sector forward.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Women in Agribusiness Award winners!
Your leadership, innovation, passion and dedication are helping shape a stronger future for New Zealand's food and fibre sector. Each of you has made an outstanding contribution to your field, and we are proud to celebrate your achievements.
We also extend our sincere congratulations to all of this year's finalists. The calibre of nominations was exceptional, and your commitment to driving positive change across the sector is inspiring.
Thank you for the impact you are making today and for the legacy you are helping build for future generations. We look forward to seeing what you achieve next.
The awards aim to increase the visibility and recognition of women’s contributions to agriculture and agribusiness, while inspiring and supporting the next generation of women leaders in the sector. They showcase the many pathways into and through agrifood careers - from farming and technical support to innovation and entrepreneurship - and seek to accelerate women’s equity, empowerment, and economic participation across food and agriculture.
At their heart, the awards amplify stories of innovation, resilience, and meaningful impact within New Zealand’s agrifood systems.
