Sam is a self described “bushman”. He has a background in ecology, predator control and managing landscape for biodiversity outcomes.
Sam is passionate about establishing meaningful and innovative relationships between businesses, markets and biodiversity.
He is also the co-founder of the Eastern Whio Link project and works closely with farmers in the catchment group space across the country.
Sam has the experience to understand and know the needs and limitations around what it will take to recloak Papatūānuku.
