Where are they now: Zoë Rookes and Maggie Peacock, founders of Bayuble

We caught up with Zoë Rookes and Maggie Peacock from Bayuble about their incredible journey creating home-compostable packaging solutions from food waste.

They’ve been up to a lot since speaking at the summit in 2019 — finishing Uni, moving to Christchurch, and getting involved with Te Ōhaka - the Centre for Growth and Innovation and UCE’s Summer Startup programme. 

They’re now working with the Callaghan Innovation advanced materials team, with funding support from AGMARDT, to grow their vision to commercialisation. We were happy to catch up with them and get on update on what they’ve been up to:
